18th Biennale at Cockatoo Island

This is actually a shipping container !!

Very lucky we were there on a windy day !

This is all made out of paper , There is a huge room full of it !


The 18th Biennale is on in Sydney, Here are a few photos from Cockatoo Island where some of the art is. For everyone that has never caught a ferry over to Cockatoo island i suggest you go and check it out ! There is so much history there and some amazing buildings to walk through, All of the art is around the whole Island in all the old buildings . It's on till the 16th of september so spend the day out there, And if you have the chance go midweek as weekends get very busy.

Whales at 7 Mile

Terry was drawing the crowds early !

Had a few visitors to 7 mile this morning.

Perfect morning for some toes on the nose !

I think he best looking the other direction!





What a lovely summers day , Oh that's right it's still winter and its 20 degrees and a perfect bluebird day.Swell was still tiny at 7 mile but there was a slight increase so the carpark was full by the time i arrived.
We also had some visitors today in the lineup some hump back whales.

Alex Logging at 7 Mile




There wasn't alot going on, You can see the NE swell on the horizon totally by passing 7 Mile !




Caught up with Alex this morning, wasn't much going on at 7 mile as the NE swell was not coming around the headland . Alex still managed to catch a few quiet ones . I'm pretty sure it was warmer in the water then standing on the beach taking photos!
